The goal of the St. Jude Dreamhome redesign was to increase ticket sales, promote the secondary markets, and publicize the sponsors that made the program possible. Most importantly, the site needed to move from Vignette to Adobe Experience Manager without a missing a day of online ticket sales.

My Role

My role was Lead UI Architect. I designed and implemented several custom AEM components that incorporated the unique feel for Dreamhome while maintaining the flexibility each market needed. I lead several rounds of user-testing and refinement of the overall design.

The Result

When launched, the new Dreamhome.org increased sales of tickets across all markets with many selling out in record time. With a mobile first approach to the ticket purchasing system, sales on mobile devices out performed other devices.

Emphasis on video

Taking notes from stjude.org, dreamhome.org incorporated a motion video background as well as a welcome video to give an overview of the program.
