By capturing this moment in virtual reality using the Oculus Go headset, Unity, and Insta360 camera, the team was able to create a powerful and immersive experience for donors.
The customized Oculus app places the donor at the center of the celebration, surrounded by the patient, physicians, nurses, and family members. This personalized experience gives a realistic and emotional view of the celebration and the hard work that goes into each patient’s treatment and care. It is a small example of St. Jude’s awesome power and mission to find cures and save children’s lives.
By allowing donors to participate in this experience, they gain a deeper understanding of how their donations are being used to support St. Jude’s mission.
